Move Management Program
When it comes to a successful corporate relocation, you don’t want any surprises. Have you ever wondered what to expect during a corporate relocation? The information below provides some insight on what to expect:
- After making the decision to allow Lewis and Michael to handle your relocation, your transferee is contacted by us within 24 hours. Your personalized representative will explain the relocation process, including a personal review of your corporate policy with the transferee.
- An appointment will be scheduled with the transferee to survey the household goods for shipment.
- The transferee communicates all information, including scheduling move dates, through our move counselor. A confirmation letter is sent to the transferee and corporate account, if requested. All third-party services are arranged, confirmed and monitored.
- The completed order is computer-registered with Lewis and Michael and Atlas Van Lines, outlining the origin and destination information, as well as any special needs or requirements.
- Prior to confirmation, your counselor will call to confirm the date and time of the crew arrival.
- Your counselor will call on pack day to check customer satisfaction, and to confirm loading time. Any concerns or issues can be immediately addressed.
- Counselor will then call on loading day to obtain any additional contact information.
- A check call is made upon delivery to ensure that all is going well.
- After delivery, Lewis and Michael will send a Performance Evaluation to the transferee for a service evaluation. Once Lewis and Michael receives the completed survey, a copy of the report is then forwarded to the corporate account.

Taking responsibility for your satisfaction
Since 1987, Atlas Van Lines has sent a performance questionnaire to all interstate transferees. This performance evaluation is mailed directly to Atlas headquarters where the results are entered into a database. Any questionnaire addressing a claim, or other service-related difficulty is forwarded to appropriate departmental management for immediate action and reply. All survey results are sent to the individual agent/broker. As the agent of record, we not only investigate any difficulties associated with an individual move, but also recognize Lewis & Michael employees providing superior service.
